The New DIY Gal

As many of you already know, my DIYing has been quite limited lately.  Between Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my right wrist and arthritis & possible herniated discs in my neck I've been relying on previously completed projects for sharing on the blog.

Rosie decided she was ready to step in and help!  I caught her rummaging through my closet where she found a chambray shirt and decided it now belonged to her. She also found my work apron and was well on her way to creating a new outfit.  On the way out the door, she stopped to look at my jewelry and scarves but I informed her that those items could be a safety issue while DIYing.  She had a few 'choice words' for me, but I wasn't giving in.
As you can see, after our little talk about safety, Rosie immediately grabbed a pair of safety goggles and a dust mask.
Should I tell her she doesn't have a head, therefore, no worries about eyes and a respiratory system?

Never mind, what am I thinking?  This is Rosie, The Dress Form Diva!
Tools were next and she chose carefully.  A paintbrush along with some painter's tape were a good start.  Then she picked out some pliers: slip-joint AND needle-nose.  A girl's gotta have options!
When she was told power tools were out of the question, Rosie plucked my mini hacksaw out of the tool box and as you can see, hasn't let go of it.
I may, or may not be a little concerned. 😉

The last tool was a screwdriver - shown in her top pocket.
Rosie is now ready for her career as a DIY Gal.  The fact that she has no arms, legs, or a head are irrelevant since she looks awesome - just ask her!

When I returned home from my Dr. appointment with good news about my neck, Rosie was less than enthused. My neck has some issues, but they can be managed, so I'll be back to DIYing as soon as my wrist is fully healed. Rosie informed me the shirt, work apron, and tools are now hers.
Fine, Rosie...as you wish.

P.S. Please don't tell her she isn't wearing pants.  I'll never hear the end of it!
