Repurposing a Vintage Swing Photo Frame

Image
Have you heard of Swing Photo Frames?  I don't know a lot about them, but I must admit, I'm quite taken with them.  My first one was give to me a couple of years ago at a yard sale.  That's right, the woman just handed it to me and told me to take it.  Who am I to argue with an offer like that?  Then I found two more at the estate sale that made me sick for 2 months .   I paid $4 a piece for them.  Now that I had 3, it was time to get creative!   W elcome to the 'Do It Over' Designers blog hop.  We are a group of bloggers who love to recycle/upcycle/DIY.  I'm happy to host this hop and I hope you'll visit everyone to see what they have to share with you.  Their links will be listed at the end of this post. Do you remember the pot lid I got at a yard sale a year or so ago?  Well, I'm finally getting around to sharing with you what I did with it! I used a paper clip

Happy New Year! I'm back for a new year of 'Just My Style'.  It's that time of year when everyone is talking about Resolutions, Color of the Year, and Upcoming Trends.  My answer to all of that is:  Nope, Nope, and Nope!  I've always steered completely away from all of that.  I gave up on New Year Resolutions in my early 20's and believe me, that was a long time ago!   Color of the Year?  Who cares?  I use colors I like.  And upcoming trends...hmmm, there's never been a buffalo check, tiered tray, or shiplap wall in my home.  I decorate with the things I love giving me a very eclectic style that suits me, and, isn't that what it's all about? Do what makes you happy and surround yourself with the things you love!  That being said, lets move on....   Christmas is packed away for another year at the Cottage and there are still a few more months until Spring, so I decided to do a little winter decorating with my mini dough bowl .  You may remember this
