This & That - Spring Edition

I really thought I'd have more projects completed around here, since it's Spring and all....sadly, Spring is not really making an appearance.  For the most part, we've had cold, damp days complete with raindrops and even a few snowflakes.  I'm over it!
So, here's a peek at what has been happening at the Cottage.  I bought some tulips, simply because I needed a touch of Spring:
The colors sold me!
On the way to the store to get supplies for a project, this happened:
I just love seeing them around town!
This project involved the jigsaw and sander:
If I could just get paint to dry!
There was some paint that needed removing on this one:
Have you tried the plastic wrap trick?
No project is complete until you remove all the old nails:
Removing old caulk is always fun:
Especially when it pulls off part of the paper on the wallboard!
By far, this is my favorite:
Can you see the raindrops dripping down the stones?
I get no credit for this one.  My hubby built this sweet little firepit for our back yard and I forgot to take pictures.  That's right, there isn't a single one!  I'm talented like that.....
Now, if the weather would just clear up, we might be able to try it out!
Stay tuned, my friends.  I will be sharing my projects soon....hopefully....depending on Spring....you know what I mean....
Have a great weekend!

I hope you'll pin, share, comment, and follow.  If you click on those 3 little lines at the top right of the blog, you'll see where to find me...or click on 'share'.

  1. It's been rainy day here, too, Ann. I'm getting pretty sick of the weather and just wish spring and sunshine would show up. Here's hoping it's not too far away!

    1. I'm sooooo over it! Winter lasts so long, and then having long stretches of cold, rainy weather on top of it? Ugh! Come on Spring!

  2. Just came over from Exquisitely Unremarkable. Wish I could give you some of this heat we are already having here in the south. Our spring is sooo short; basically seems like only a few days of really pleasant weather then the heat sets in....and the gnats! But I do love living in the south:) Your post reminds me I have several projects I really need to get busy with...just no motivation to do them!!! Now I'm off to check out more of your blog. Come by to visit mine sometimes.

    1. I would gladly take some of it, Cheri. Our Springs are starting to get shorter, too. It seems like we have a few days and then jump right into Summer. I'm so glad you stopped by and hope you'll be back again soon.
      Off to visit you.....
